About Us
My parents immigrated to the US from Ireland in 1957. When we returned to Ireland for visits, I remember my Grandmother had a clothes drying rack in her kitchen which was always the warmest and most inviting room in the house. All the laundry was dried on this rack. On a recent visit to Ireland, I was impressed that even now, in these modern times, every home I visited had one of these racks for their laundry. I have had one in my home for years and everyone who ventures into my laundry room comments on it's beautiful design and it's usefulness.
The combination of the downturn in the economy and my daughter going off to attend a very expensive college prompted me to start this new business. My family and I decided the time was right to design and manufacture a new kind of drying rack. This rack is based on my memories of my Grandmother's rack. Our company is based in Bozeman, Montana. This outdoorsy town is the perfect place to build this product that is good for our environment, good for our community and good for us!
